A. IMTEC, a 3M Company offers a complimentary video cassette or CD ROM showing an MDI mandibular surgery. It’s narrated in English and is also available in Spanish. The video is available in addition to brochures and other flyers. The Oklahoma company also conducts CE courses, seminars and workshops throughout the year that are helpful and instructive. IMTEC’s website, www.imtec.com, describes the full Sendax MDI line, and also features an eleven minute video that can be downloaded in addition to some excellent digital photographs of segments of MDI placements. IMTEC also offers a variety of printed materials including a thorough FAQ about the MDI. There are doctor testimonials available that are quite informative; also, a lot of doctors have corresponded with me over the years on technical issues arising from MDI placements, with my responses; all in all, some good information and data.
