IMTEC works with many partners including Caltech, US DOE National Laboratories, NASA, NSF and the NRL. SuperScan, a high-speed, high-throughput 3D computed tomography scanning technology from IMTEC, was developed for use by our partner OrthoProof and is available in Europe, Australia, Asia and North America through international partnerships.
SuperScan enables Align Technology, manufacturer of Invisalign® clear plastic teeth aligners, to significantly increase scanning speeds and manufacturing efficiency.
IMTEC designs and manufactures the medical and dental 3D head scanning system called ILUMA™, which is distributed by Kodak Dental within the dental and orthodontic markets. IMTEC has also given GE Healthcare exclusive distribution rights among the medical community within the United States.
