About FlashCT®
The FlashCT® line of industrial CT systems started as a cooperative research and development agreement between IMTEC Corporation (then HYTEC Inc.) and Los Alamos National Laboratory in 1997. The highly successful technology transfer from the national laboratory to industry was continued by ongoing R&D efforts at IMTEC, resulting in a ever-expanding line of products.
IMTEC offers both standard as well as custom CT solutions using the core FlashCT® technology. FlashCT® is designed around area-detector, cone beam technology which can be adapted to a very wide range of applications. The software and hardware designs allow flexibility in both size and quantities of parts to be scanned. The FlashCT® technology covers all aspects of scanning, from radiographic system design through data acquisition, processing, and advanced 3D visualization techniques.
From aerospace to dentistry, bomb disposal to plastic housings, FlashCT® has been used in a wide range of applications. Our engineering staff is ready to work with you no matter what your problem may be. FlashCT® has helped many of our customers out of some particularly sticky situations, and we may be able to help you.
