IMTEC Corporation offers a wide variety of Guided
Tissue Regeneration materials to accommodate different
needs that may arise in cases where there are
periodontal or bony defects present.
IMTEC has several different membranes to
choose from in its GTR line.
BioBarrier is a PTFE non-resorbable membrane
that is available in porus or non- porus designs.
BioSorb, is IMTEC’s resorbable collagen
membrane, which can be used for extended predictable
absorption.
The newest membrane to the IMTEC’s GTR
family is BioCellect, a synthetic resorbable membrane,
which can be used when collagen is not an option.
IMTEC
offers two different tac systems to be used with
the IMTEC membranes for stabilization. The TiTac
system, which are IMTEC’s non-resorbable bone
tacs and may be removed along with the membrane
at the second stage intervention.
Also available are IMTEC’s BioPin which
are a resorbable tac and are used with a resorbable
membrane and automatically eliminates the need
for a second surgery.
