IMTEC is offering exciting new training courses for 2006. As a result of the popularity of the ENDURE Internal Hex Implant System and the positive feedback received about IMTEC Mini-Residencies, IMTEC is now offering this exciting training medium for the ENDURE Implant System.
ENDURE Mini- Residencies are a great way to learn about IMTEC ENDURE Internal Hex Implant placement in a live-surgical environment. Completion of an authorized mini-residency will thoroughly acquaint an attendee with basic knowledge of the system and placement technique.
ENDURE Mini Residency programs
offer clinicians an opportunity
to learn about the IMTEC ENDURE
Internal Hex Implant. The first
part of the course day features
an overview of ENDURE treatment
preparation, protocol and restorative
techniques. Attendees then observe
an actual ENDURE surgery performed
by the course moderator. Attendees
will also hear about the lecturer's
personal experiences with ENDURE
cases, reactions from their patients
and also learn about the surgery
as it is being performed. Following
the ENDURE surgery there will
be time for review and analysis. This
is a realistic approach to learn
about the system in an in-depth
and technical training session.
Drs. L. Scott Brooksby of Las
Vegas, Nevada and Ted Fields of
Dallas, Texas are the current
ENDURE Mini-Residency moderators.
Dr. Brooksby says: "Most dentists are used to attending training courses and only getting a sales pitch. I designed my ENDURE Mini-Residency presentation to realistically teach attendees how to identify and manage all types of difficult cases with ease. By utilizing patient CT images in my presentation, attendees of my courses can leave feeling reasonably comfortable in their abilities to handle any problems they might encounter, including soft bone structure, narrow ridges, anatomical problems, over instrumentation, and many more."
Dr. Ted Fields comments about
his courses: "The first thing
I teach is what makes the ENDURE
Implant and IMTEC Corporation
unique. I begin each course by
explaining the features of the
implant and the company’s
philosophy so students can understand
how the implant costs so little,
but gives more than other choices.
IMTEC Corporation focuses
on educational support instead
of outside sales staffing to prepare
clinicians for placing implants
in all types of cases.
Clinicians will gain diagnostic
and planning capabilities so they
can choose optimal cases to start
with and be capable of handling
any difficult case they may face.
Clinicians will also learn
basic implant restoration for
overdenture and fixed restorations."
Brooksby explained many doctors
fear conventional implants because
of the potential risks more invasive
treatment plans involve.
"My goal is to train
dentists to handle everything
and that makes the easy cases
even easier. My motto is ‘If
you are prepared, you shall not
fear," said Brooksby.
Fields said clinicians will gain
a great deal of surgical knowledge
in his courses and should feel
completely comfortable placing
implants in many cases and be
capable of restoring the implant
completely after completing his
course.
Dr. L. Scott Brooksby is a prosthodontist
and Dr. Ted Fields has a private
oral and maxillofacial surgery
practice.
Both moderators have extensive
experience placing and restoring
implants.
Space is limited for ENDURE mini-residencies
so clinicians are urged to enroll
at the earliest possible time.
The seminars run from 9:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the fee
for enrollment is $750.00. Enrollment forms are available upon request, in addition to
various course materials.
Clinicians may enroll for
ENDURE Mini-Residencies
through the official IMTEC website,
www.imtec.com
or by calling an IMTEC representative,
800-879-9799 or (580) 223-4456
Dr. William W. Rea conducts personalized,
in-office implant training for
clinicians and staff for the ENDURE
implant system. Dr. Rea travels
to the clinician’s office
to conduct a variety of training
options. The first option is a
one-day seminar and workshop in
which clinicians and staff learn
about the rationale behind implants;
patient evaluation and diagnostic
planning; ENDURE surgical protocol
and placement; and restorative
techniques. The second option
is a two-day combined program
in which clinicians and staff
learn the topics covered in the
one-day training and treatment
planning strategies; guided tissue
regeneration techniques; troubleshooting;
and advanced Mini-Dental Implant
(MDI) techniques. An additional
training day is available in which
the clinician has the opportunity
to place implants under the supervision
of Dr. Rea.
Attendees
of Dr. Rea’s specialized
one-on-one training course will
receive a complete lecture supplement
manual addressing all aspects
of implantology. Clinicians will
receive 7 CE participation credits
for the one-day course and 14
CE credits for the two-day course.
The costs for the course offerings
are $3,500 for a one-day seminar;
$5,000 for a two-day combined
seminar; and an additional $1,000
for the day of supervised surgery.
Dr.
William W. Rea has extensive experience
placing ENDURE and MDI implants.
Dr. Rea is available to effectively
train clinicians at any location
in the United States.
Dr.
Ernesto León offers individualized,
in-depth training at his office
in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico.
The courses are scheduled by arrangement
and include lecture information
about MDI or ENDURE implants and
allow the clinician to place implants
under supervision. Dr. León
teaches the curriculum requested
by the clinician. The cost of
courses with Dr. León is
$800 per day; travel arrangements
are the responsibility of the
clinician.
Dr.
Ernesto León is a national
and international speaker on the
topic of dental implantology and
has taught courses in the United
States and in Central and South
America.
