Coordination of the company's extensive research and development wing has been the primary responsibility of M. K. Patterson, Jr., Ph.D., a distinguished scientist with an international reputation. Dr Patterson is a long-time IMTEC executive and has co-ordinated the company's extensive product development, Quality Assurance and inventory control programs. Under his guidance, PMA submissions have been approved by the FDA as well as other international regulatory bodies. His work has resulted in timely submissions and receipt of necessary agency certificates for numerous company products. Dr. Patterson holds

bachelor's and master's degrees in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma, and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Vanderbilt University. Author of numerous scientific publications and articles, Dr. Patterson is a retired scientist from the Noble Foundation of Ardmore and is an internationally known lecturer and speaker. He has served as a director of the company since 1992. Dr. Patterson retired from active service with IMTEC in January 2002 but remains an active director of the company. Dr. Patterson resides in Oklahoma City with his wife, Beverly.
