Products: IMTEC produces more than 600 dental specialty products, including dental implants, surgical tools, orthodontic implants, oral hygiene items and bone and tissue regeneration products. The company’s primary product is a patented 1.8 millimeter IMTEC Sendax MDI dental implant that’s used mainly for stabilization of dentures.

Background:

The company was co-founded in Ardmore in 1990 by Bulard and Gillespie with an original concept of a dental implants designed to replace missing teeth. IMTEC has grown to offer more than 600 dental products.

It has expanded its presence worldwide with sales and marketing offices in Frankfurt, Germany; Toronto, Canada; Cuernavaca, Mexico; and London, England. The company trains more than 2,500 doctors each year in the use of its products and offers six two-day courses annually at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where 300 to 400 doctors from around the world are trained.

The company sells its products to oral surgeons, periodontists and prosthodontists, as well as general dentists. Its made-in-Ardmore products are sold in 84 countries. IMTEC recently broke ground on a 20,000-square-foot building that will expand its presence in Ardmore.
