IMTEC to Become Technology Solutions Provider for Meat & Livestock Australia
Los Alamos, NM – Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) has selected IMTEC Corporation to develop new techniques for high-speed CT scans of livestock carcasses. Using IMTEC’s 3D imaging technology software known as FlashCT, IMTEC will begin Phase 1 of a multi-year, 6 phase process for objective carcass scanning. Objectives of the assembly production CT applications include the potential to scan the meat for fat and bone content, marbling and other quality attributes.
